We really enjoyed our cruise. We knew how much fun it was going to be, but we had a blast. Hi Juli and crew -

We had a great time! This is a terrific way to sample a lot of places without having to pack and unpack. The itinerary was great - wouldn't change anything. Spent 2 days before in Venice and 2 days following in Barcelona. Only complaints - too little time in some places (guess we'll just have to go back to those) and very hot weather. Be sure to alert your other clients that this is not a cruise for those who want to relax; we were on the go early and all day almost every day. The Emerald Princess is a delight! Never felt crowded at any point, great layout, entertainment and service. The new Princess menu is the best we've ever tasted on board ship. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Juli and staff-

Just wanted to report back that our cruise on the Sapphire Princess June 17-24 was superb! Everything was first class - the room, the service, the food, and of course the itinerary. If you have clients making this cruise in the future, I'd suggest they go with Anytime Dining. There were several evenings where we got caught up watching the ship leave port or sitting in the aft hot tub while we cruised College Fiord :-)
when we didn't make it to dinner until 9 or 9:30; with Anytime Dining we were able to be flexible and not have to go to the buffet because we missed our dinner seating.
Whie on board we booked another cruise, which the Princess rep said they'd credit to you. Booking #VM7PMK, Crown Princess 3/10-17/07. Room is BB/C703. We'll take an upgrade on this one, but only to another Caribe deck balcony (no Lido deck, please) or to a minisuite on Dolphin or Emerald. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Cruises At Cost-

We wanted to let Anna and the others at the Cruise Company know that we thoroughly enjoyed our two-week cruise that you booked for us. The food and service on board were exceptional. The ports of call in the Mediterranean were all very interesting. Our family favorites were Villefranche and Santorini. We’d love someday to return to those places for a longer stay. Venice and Barcelona were wonderful, too. Thank you again.

Dear Juli and Anna:

Well, we've been home since Easter Sunday! What a long return flight ... so many time zones, it has taken us a while to get back to normal. About the time we think we're back, we get pooped out the next day! Share your secret, Juli, how do you deal with the jet-lag?

As for the trip:
We really enjoyed it - and the upgraded cabin. The balcony was very nice indeed. We know we'd like to have it again in the future. The Diamond Princess is magnificent! We enjoyed "Any Time Dining" and all the choices of the restaurants. We also appreciated the benefit of using the Internet as a perk for being Platinum members.

We know you sometimes forward emails to Princess Cruises, and this is one we'd like to get to them. We had 48 hours of extremely rough seas - so much so that we weren't able to go to Hobart. Our Captain slowed the ship down to ease the effect on the passengers. Our kudos go to the Captain who took his responsibilities of the safety of his passengers and crew seriously enough to forego the Hobart stop. We are grateful for his good judgement. We heard so many people gripe and complain. Yes, we missed going to Hobart, but not at the expense of another day of those seas. We were reminded of "Mother Nature" being in control. Divers were sent down under the ship to check out and make necessary repairs after we arrived in Melbourne. An announcement was made assuring passengers who had booked shore excursions in Hobart that they would immediately have the charges reversed. We were also very impressed by the speed with which Princess Cruises organized Shore Excursions for the additional time in Melbourne. We chose the trip to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade. It was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever enjoyed. It was the silver lining of the trip - an added bonus, if you will. We obviously enjoy Princess ...we've put a deposit on a future cruise ... since we have as much as 4 years to take advantage of it.

Our other surprise was Sydney. We were expecting a large harbor city, but were unprepared for its exquisite beauty. We spent two additional days in Sydney after the cruise and were so pleased we did. We took advantage of a harbor cruise to see the harbor in its entirety, and then used the ferry the following day to go to Darling Harbor and spend much of the day. Went to the market at the Rocks and enjoyed fish and chips at Doyle's ... tho' we were shocked at the price. However, it was so good, we went there the second night!!! It is one of the places on our short list that we would revisit at some point.

New Zealand's natural beauty was enhanced by the nature of the people; they were all so friendly and gracious! We enjoyed the English hospitality of serving tea wherever we went on the shore excursions.

We used Air New Zealand for our flight. The new 777 plane. From the time we arrived in the lounge at SFO to our flight over and back, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the service was just great!

We enjoy working with you at the Cruise Company. We will continue to refer friends. Thanks for all the help before we left. Much appreciated.
